The Association of Preservationists of Flora and Fauna was founded by a group of Costa Rican citizens worried about the environmental problems faced by Costa Rica in the 70s.

On the 21st of May 1985 was constituted legally as an official Association

From the beginning the protection of the nature has been the main goal of all the people who have worked in this organization.

We are extremely thankful for all people who have given part of their lives, to construct this Association, especially to the founders:
